- Traffic system: There are national roads running across the province including the national road No 2 with 90 kilometers long (from Doi Binh commune of Yen Son district to Yen Lam commune of Ham Yen district) connecting Ha Noi and Phu Tho with Tuyen Quang and Ha Giang provinces, the national road No 37 joining Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang (crossing Son Duong and Yen Son districts) and Yen Bai, the national road No 2C connecting Vinh Yen town of Vinh Phuc province with Son Duong district and Tuyen Quang town.
In the whole province, there are 340.6 kilometers of national roads; 392.6 kilometers of provincial roads, 579.8 kilometers of district roads and 141.71 kilometers of urban roads including gravel, asphalted and concrete roads. At present, 100% of the communes and 96.3% of the villages have roads with car access.
The province has finalized its master plan for traffic system development to 2010 and orientation up to 2020. In the near future, it is expected to build up a comprehensive traffic network including roads, waterways and railways, of which are national life-lines and strategic routes crossing the province, namely Ho Chi Minh road, Hai Phong (Vietnam) - Con Minh (China) high way, Thai Nguyen - Tuyen Quang - Yen Bai railway, waterway connecting Viet Tri - Tuyen Quang and lower section of Tuyen Quang Hydro-electric Plant. This traffic system will basically change the provincial economic geography and create favourable conditions for attraction of investment and expansion of trade.
- Electricity system: Tuyen Quang is supplied with electricity bought from China through the 110 KW line from Thanh Thuy Border Gate (Ha Giang) to the110 KV Station in Ha Giang, and then through the 110 KV transmission line from Bac Quang district to Ham Yen district and then to Tuyen Quang town’s and Ham Yen district’s 110 KV Stations. In addition, the province can benefit from reserved power sources from Thac Ba Plant in Yen Bai and Thai Nguyen’s 220 KV Station through the 110 KV of Thac Ba - Thai Nguyen. At present, there are a total of 613 electricity transformer stations of various capacities, and 1,447.8 kilometres of electricity lines of 6 to 35 KV in the whole province. By 2005, 100% of the communes have had access to the national electricity grid, benefiting total of 84.5% of the households.
- Information and communication: The provincial information and communication network continues developing with 100% of the township and commune centers having access to mobile phone network; 100% of the communes having telephone lines with average rate of 5.8 phones per 100 residents; 114/140 communes having a post office; 100% of the communes receiving daily mails and newspapers; 100% of the communes having television broadcasting stations; 80% of residents having access to radio broadcasting programs; 75% of residents having access to television broadcasting programs. Mobile phone services have coverage has reached all industrial zones, crowded areas and along the national roads.
- Water supply system: A lot of potable water supply schemes have been invested in the province in order to increase number of people having access to clean water. In the past few years, the province has put great efforts in construction of both public and small scale schemes to supply clean water to those who live in rural, upland and remote areas. - Banking and financial systems: The provincial banking system includes the Investment and Development Bank, the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, the Social Policy Bank, the Development Bank of Vietnam with sufficient competent staff to meet demands of both domestic and international investors for loans, remittance, payment, guarantee, etc, in the fastest and most convenient manner by using modern electronic systems.
- Educational system: There are 4 professional and vocational training centres including the Provincial Pedagogy College, High School for Economic and Technical Training, Medical High School, and Technology High School who have the capacity to train hundreds of teachers, health care workers and thousands of skilled staff and workers every year. - Health care system: The province is step by step consolidating and developing its health care system to meet increasing demands for medical exams and treatment. As of now, total of 104 commune health stations have met the national standards. In the whole province, there are 4 provincial and 7 district hospitals. All the communes have health stations or clinics with 105 of them having a doctor present. Number of sick-beds achieve proximately 2,000.
