One of the early adopters of AI-powered automation in manufacturing is the Tuyen Quang High-Quality Tunnel Brick Factory, operated by Vien Chau Tunnel Brick Joint Stock Company. Utilizing fully automated production lines imported from leading industrial nations, the factory employs robotic systems to manage each step of the brick-making process - from raw material treatment and shaping to stacking and final output. The plant can produce between 350,000 to 400,000 bricks daily. Using finely ground hill soil (0.15–5mm), aged for 150 hours to increase plasticity and adhesion, the bricks meet and exceed national construction standards. The facility also integrates a modern waste gas treatment system that recycles heat and emissions, aligning with the principles of circular economy and green production.

At An Hoa Paper Joint Stock Company, AI is streamlining back-office operations - handling document processing, data management, report analysis, and workflow automation. Hoang Minh Son, Director of Administration and Human Resources, says that AI platforms have significantly reduced manual tasks, increased processing speed, and improved accuracy across departments. The company has also deployed internal AI chatbots to provide instant responses to employee queries, improving workplace experience. “It’s a strategic move within our broader digital transformation goals,” Son said, “and part of our long-term vision for becoming a smart, agile, and efficient business in the digital age.”
In real estate and construction, BVN Investment and Real Estate Construction JSC, based in Ha Giang Ward 2, is using AI to revolutionize architectural design. “With AI, we’re not only saving time in the design process but also creating innovative housing models tailored to modern lifestyles,” said Chairman Vu Anh Tuan. The technology helps BVN analyze global architectural trends and user behavior to deliver designs that are both aesthetic and functional - at a lower cost. The company believes this gives it a competitive edge in the real estate market, while supporting sustainable growth in line with Industry 4.0.
Business Association Leads the Digital Transformation Trend
The Tuyen Quang Business Association is taking an active role in helping local businesses harness AI. Under the leadership of Chairman Nguyen Huu Thap, the association has launched free training programs to raise AI awareness and skills. One of the earliest workshops, held at Tuyen Quang Forestry and Mineral Joint Stock Company, drew nearly 70 participants from cooperatives and small businesses. Attendees learned how to apply AI tools for automated reporting, data analytics, customer management, and production planning.

“AI isn’t just for big corporations. Every business in Tuyen Quang can and should explore AI to achieve sustainable growth,” Thap emphasized.
Despite its promise, AI adoption in Tuyen Quang still faces hurdles. According to Le Van Quyen, Director of Long Thang Co., Ltd. in Son Thuy Commune, many small businesses lack the dedicated tech teams or digital infrastructure needed to deploy AI effectively. Fragmented, low-quality data systems also pose integration challenges, particularly in traditional industries. However, recent policy moves are providing a much-needed boost. Decree No. 182/2024/ND-CP, issued by the Government on December 31, 2024, offers up to 50% support for initial investments in AI research and development. Meanwhile, international cooperation with global tech firms and training programs - such as those backed by Google Asia - are helping raise digital capacity across the province.
In the coming time, Tuyen Quang aims to become a model for digital economy growth and high-tech application. With continued support from the Business Association and favorable policies from the State, local enterprises and cooperatives are steadily asserting their presence and preparing to integrate into global value chains. Tuyen Quang is proving that with the right mindset and strategic action, AI is not just a tool for tech giants - it is a golden opportunity for businesses of all sizes to thrive in the digital era.
