According to the directive, the Department of Agriculture and Environment is tasked with leading efforts to restructure the agricultural sector toward large-scale commodity production, promoting green, organic, circular, and sustainable agriculture. In parallel, the province will enhance the application of science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation in agriculture; guide farmers in developing and replicating advanced production models; and direct technical staff to work closely with local authorities to advise farmers on effective pest and disease control, ensuring the 2025 agricultural production plan meets its targets.
The Department of Industry and Trade, the provincial Police, the Department of Health, and district- and city-level People's Committees are responsible for strengthening supervision over production, processing, storage, and consumption of agricultural products. All relevant agencies must ensure food safety, environmental hygiene, and public order across the province.
Enterprises are encouraged to develop supply-consumption value chains, invest in raw material zones, and upgrade cold storage and modern preservation technologies. Efforts should also be focused on deep processing to increase value-added, improve product quality, build strong brands, and enhance the competitiveness of Tuyen Quang’s agricultural products in both domestic and international markets.
Additionally, relevant units are instructed to regularly update information on import policies of key markets to avoid disruption due to sudden policy shifts. Stockpiling of agricultural and aquatic products during peak harvest seasons is also encouraged to support farmers and facilitate processing and consumption activities.
