Japanese Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ito Naoki and his delegation visiting the Yen Son Solar Power Project
Officials from the Provincial Industrial Parks and Economic Zones Management Authority briefed the delegation on development plans and priorities for Long Binh An Industrial Park, including infrastructure investment opportunities and the potential for industrial development. With its strategic location and developing infrastructure, Long Binh An Industrial Park is well positioned to attract manufacturing investment, create local jobs and support economic restructuring. The briefing provided Japanese businesses with a clearer understanding of the park’s potential and a basis for assessing investment opportunities in Tuyen Quang.
In My Lam Ward, the delegation visited the 45 MW Yen Son Solar Power Project and received briefings on the area’s renewable energy potential and the conditions for clean energy investment. Alongside manufacturing, energy offers significant scope for development as industrial demand continues to grow. The site visit gave Japanese partners a closer look at the province’s energy development plans and an opportunity to assess potential investment opportunities against their business strategies.
Tuyen Quang also presented a portfolio of priority projects seeking foreign investment in urban development, eco-tourism and hospitality, commercial services, and clean energy.
One of the key projects was the 1,600-hectare Ngoi La Urban Eco-Resort and Golf Complex, spanning Minh Xuan Ward and Yen Son Commune. The project is currently undergoing sub-zone planning and offers potential for high-end residential development, golf facilities, commercial services, and premium real estate.
The province also introduced a 48-hectare urban development project in An Tuong Ward, planned to accommodate an estimated 6,000–8,000 residents. Detailed construction plans for the project were approved under Decision No. 122/QD-UBND dated 30 December 2025. The development is expected to create opportunities for investment in housing, retail, and services, while improving urban infrastructure and supporting local socio-economic development.
In the energy sector, the province also highlighted the 35 MW Son Duong Solar Power Project in Son Duong Commune.
Through these site visits, Tuyen Quang aims to strengthen engagement with Japanese organisations and businesses, promote its investment environment, and reaffirm its commitment to facilitating investment by Japanese partners seeking concrete opportunities for cooperation.
