Employment fairs and online job exchanges help connect job seekers with employers. For example, Ms. Ly Thi Luu Ly from Chan Son (Yen Son district) secured a garment factory job with a stable monthly income of over 7 million VND (around 275 USD). Meanwhile, Mr. Trieu Van Luu, a 25-year-old Dao ethnic worker from Hong Thai (Na Hang district), chose to work in South Korea under a 3-year contract, earning over 35 million VND per month (around 1,370 USD). Despite challenges abroad, he managed to save and send money home, supporting his family.
Tuyen Quang’s industrial zones have also contributed significantly to local employment, with over 40 industrial projects creating jobs for thousands of workers. The average monthly income in these industrial parks is 6.7 million VND (about 260 USD). In Q1 2025, over 3,600 workers found jobs, including 2,263 in local sectors, 1,271 in other provinces, and 127 through overseas contracts.
Authorities acknowledge the challenges ahead, as the current employment rate only reaches 15.58% of the 2025 target, partly due to global uncertainties and cautious business expansion. However, efforts continue to match workers with opportunities, especially in remote and ethnic minority areas.
In the coming time, Tuyen Quang will strengthen labor market connections, enhance vocational training, and promote labor export. Job fairs and outreach programs will focus on ethnic minority areas and households in difficult circumstances. Employers are encouraged to recruit locally, while workers are guided on labor laws, occupational safety, and labor export options. With continued investment, workforce development, and a dynamic labor market, Tuyen Quang aims to create more jobs, increase incomes, and support the province’s socio-economic growth.
