A vocational counseling session connects job seekers with employers from all corners at a provincial job fair in Tuyen Quang
Agile Job Placement Strategies
Despite global volatility impacting domestic production in 2025, local authorities across the board maintained a proactive focus on job creation. The Department of Home Affairs collaborated with various agencies to host job fairs, bridging the gap between job seekers and employers from all corners. These sessions provided thousands of vacancies across diverse sectors, allowing workers to secure positions tailored to their expertise.
Synergistic Solutions for Workforce Development
Vocational institutions have overhauled training quality to meet market demands, expanding enrollment in high-demand fields such as automotive technology, industrial electricity, corporate accounting, and animal husbandry.
Tran Nhu Thanh, Head of Admissions and Corporate Cooperation at Tuyen Quang College, stated that the school coordinates with local communes to assess labor needs before launching vocational classes. "We provide career guidance for students while strengthening partnerships with employers for order-based training," Thanh said. This approach ensures nearly 100% of graduates secure immediate employment or effectively apply their specialized skills.
According to Department of Home Affairs data, the province generated jobs for 44,730 workers in 2025 - a 106.5% achievement of the annual plan. This includes 1,583 laborers working abroad under contracts, representing a 105.5% year-on-year target fulfillment. The remainder found employment within provincial economic sectors or at various industrial parks and clusters nationwide. Key drivers included expanded vocational training networks, enhanced job counseling, and robust investment attraction.
For 2026, the province aims to intensify labor demand assessments, optimizing job fairs and promoting labor export. Authorities will prioritize high-quality human resource development through targeted training and investment-friendly policies to further boost employment rates, bolster livelihoods, and accelerate regional socio-economic growth.
