On October 26, 2024, the Medigreif Group, led by its Chairman, Prof. Dr. Dietmar Enderlein, visited Tuyen Quang Province to engage with local authorities.

The delegation met with Mr. Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Hoang Viet Phuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, and representatives from various provincial agencies.

Medigreif Group, a leading private healthcare corporation headquartered in Greifswald, Germany, was founded in 1990 by Prof. Dr. Dietmar Enderlein. The company specializes in a wide range of healthcare services, including geriatric rehabilitation, wellness programs, mental health services, and surgical interventions across various specialties like gynecology, obstetrics, and urology. In 2023, Medigreif expanded its global footprint into Vietnam by establishing Medigreif Viet-German Co., Ltd., with a representative office in Hanoi. The company's strategic vision for Vietnam involves training Vietnamese nursing professionals, deploying healthcare workers to Medigreif hospitals in Germany, and offering premium medical services and healthcare tourism packages in Germany.

Upon their arrival, Chairman Nguyen Van Son warmly welcomed Prof. Dr. Enderlein and the Medigreif delegation. Discussions centered on potential collaborations between Tuyen Quang Province and the Medigreif Group, particularly in healthcare delivery, medical education, and workforce development. Chairman Son also provided insights into the province's socioeconomic landscape, especially in the aftermath of Typhoon Yagi.

As a gesture of support to aid Tuyen Quang's recovery efforts post-typhoon, Medigreif donated medical equipment valued at 4,000 EUR to the Huong Sen Rehabilitation Hospital. This donation aims to bolster the hospital's capacity to provide critical healthcare services.

The Medigreif delegation is slated to depart Tuyen Quang on October 27, with plans to explore several historical sites in the Tan Trao Tourist Area, Son Duong District, before returning to Hanoi.
