The program serves as an educational journey aimed at helping younger generations better understand the revolutionary history shared by Vietnam and China. Through visits to historical sites in Yunnan where President Ho Chi Minh and earlier revolutionary leaders once lived and worked, participants gained deeper insight into the long-standing friendship between the two countries.
Youth representatives shared the outcomes of their odyssey with provincial leaders, saying the visits not only broadened their historical understanding and strengthened their ideals, but also deepened their appreciation for the traditional friendship between Vietnam and China - a relationship described as “both comrades and brothers” by President Ho Chi Minh and Chairman Mao Zedong.
Representatives from the participating localities expressed pride in receiving encouragement and guidance from senior leaders of the five provinces. Youth delegates from Lai Chau, Tuyen Quang, Lao Cai, Dien Bien and Yunnan pledged to maintain their pioneering spirit, continue learning and strengthen exchanges to further promote the Vietnam-China friendship for future generations.
