EREX representatives updated provincial leaders on three projects in Tuyen Quang: The Erex Sakura Tuyen Quang biomass fuel plant at Long Binh An Industrial Park, the Xuan Van Industrial Cluster infrastructure project, and the Tuyen Quang biomass power plant. The three projects have a combined investment of $157.4 million.

The company asked the province to support investment in a shared drainage system to ensure synchronized infrastructure for the Xuan Van Industrial Cluster project. It also requested continued support from provincial agencies and local authorities in completing procedures related to construction permits, adjustments to investment certificates, and land clearance for a 110-kV transmission line linked to the plant.

He said the EREX projects are important to Tuyen Quang’s economic growth targets, helping promote green industry, create jobs for local residents and increase state budget revenue. The province remains committed to supporting businesses and creating favorable conditions for investors, including EREX, to expand operations in Tuyen Quang.
Provincial authorities and local agencies have worked closely to help the projects move forward on schedule and begin operations soon, Mr. Ngoc said. He urged the company to mobilize resources to speed up implementation while strictly complying with environmental regulations to avoid pollution incidents during construction and operation. Tuyen Quang will focus on developing industry based on a circular economy model, green growth, high-tech application and environmentally friendly production during the 2026-2030 period.

He hopes EREX will continue expanding investment in Tuyen Quang beyond its current projects, while also helping attract other Japanese companies to explore opportunities in the province.

He said EREX would continue working closely with provincial agencies and local authorities to ensure the projects are carried out on schedule, safely and in an environmentally friendly manner, contributing to the province’s socio-economic development.
