Speaking at the meeting, Secretary Hau A Lenh expressed his pleasure at meeting and exchanging views with Secretary Wang Ning. He emphasized that, following the merger of Tuyen Quang and Ha Giang, the newly established province now possesses great potential for cooperation with Yunnan, particularly in border economy, trade, labor, agriculture, and people-to-people exchanges. With a 277-kilometer border shared with Yunnan and Guangxi, Tuyen Quang considers cooperation with Chinese localities a strategic direction to promote border economic development, ensure national defense and security, and strengthen the friendship between the peoples of the two countries.
