Mr. Hau A Lenh, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee, received a courtesy visit from the Korea-Vietnam Economic and Cultural Association (KOVECA) and Kosy Joint Stock Company, led by Mr. Kwon Sung Taek, Chairman of KOVECA.

During the meeting, Mr. Kwon Sung Taek briefed the Secretary and provincial leaders on KOVECA’s activities with Tuyen Quang. The two sides exchanged information to promote the province and facilitated connections with Korean enterprises accompanying the delegation. Among them, Korean businesses in agriculture, energy, and biotechnology engaged with local cooperatives; cultural exchange activities were introduced, and participation in Tuyen Quang’s typical cultural events was encouraged. Going forward, KOVECA will connect more Korean enterprises with Tuyen Quang to foster cooperation in economy, culture, and tourism.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Hau A Lenh emphasized that Tuyen Quang has already established practical and effective cooperation with Korean partners. Currently, the province hosts seven FDI projects by Korean investors with a total registered capital of USD 36 million. However, the scale of cooperation remains modest compared to the province’s potential. The Secretary expressed hope that KOVECA and Kosy Joint Stock Company will continue to accompany Tuyen Quang in areas such as investment promotion, trade, urban infrastructure development, renewable energy, high-tech agriculture, as well as tourism, culture, and education exchanges.

Mr. Hau A Lenh affirmed that Tuyen Quang consistently provides an open and stable investment environment and always stands ready to support investors and enterprises in effectively implementing their projects. He also expressed the wish that KOVECA will help connect Tuyen Quang with localities in Korea to establish friendly partnerships, strengthen cooperation in culture and tourism, promote destinations, link sustainable tourism development, and share experiences in developing tourist areas. In addition, he called for further efforts to introduce and attract investors to study and invest in commercial infrastructure, promote OCOP products, and expand cooperation in the province’s potential sectors such as agriculture and tourism.
