Hoang Gia Long, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Tuyen Quang People's Committee, received the delegation led by KOVECA Chairman Kwon Sung Taek.
Long offered insights into the province's socio-economic landscape and resource potential. He noted that international partnerships have expanded significantly in recent years, with several South Korean companies already operating effectively in the area and driving local growth.
Tuyen Quang requested that KOVECA facilitate direct links with South Korean businesses and municipal governments. Priority areas include industrial development, clean energy projects, tourism collaboration with Jeju Island, and market access for high-potential local specialties under the OCOP (One Commune One Product) program. The province also expressed interest in expanding labor exchange initiatives.
In response, Kwon praised Tuyen Quang's hospitality, natural scenery, and economic outlook, identifying tourism, green energy, and high-tech agriculture as particularly promising sectors for joint investment.
Kwon pledged that KOVECA will actively promote Tuyen Quang’s cultural heritage, traditional festivals, and tourism offerings to the South Korean public, while facilitating broader bilateral cooperation.
